saturday was spent exploring a few new places we often heard/read about – starting with lunch at tamale house on east 6th. it was so simple and delicious and cute. i will eat here often. afterwards we popped into east austin succulents to get a few things for our little teeny tiny "front porch". what a gold mine...

later that night we went to whip in for dinner – an old corner grocery turned indian pub. talk about unique. the food was delicious, and the amount of beer options was almost overwhelming. the location is slightly random, however i can't wait to get back here when they have live music on the patio and warm weather!
